Sometimes, we fall in love with people to heal and take care of ourselves. These are not relationships that were meant to last. They were never going to be your Happily Ever After. It's impossible to have a REAL relationship with someone who is unable to see your feelings, to feel empathy. Narcissists are attracted to empaths due to their selfless nature. It is the perfect pairing for TEACHING LESSONS. Boundaries are impertinent for the empath lest they attract another version of an energy vampire.

If you ever feel this happening you need to ask yourself what are they mirroring to you. If you feel like they are abandoning you then in what way have you abandoned yourself? If you feel they don't love you or show you their love then in what way are you not loving yourself? I can go on and on. This is MIRROR work.
