Why is it that the most romantic love stories involve something blocking the union?
I know for Twin Flames the only thing blocking the union is themselves. Each with their own insecurities or wounds left unhealed. You may think you are ready for union but then when your Twin Flame brings up these insecurities you realize you are not. You want to go back into your shell where it is safe. Where no one can judge you. No one to look at you and see the flaws that you see.
The rejection is what the "Runner" Twin Flame is running from. They are running because they feel eventually that what you are going to do. You can't possibly share the same feelings that they have for you.
Healing these childhood wounds of not being good enough. Not being pretty/handsome enough. Cool enough. Smart enough. Body issues arise. Not feeling like they look the way a man should in order for someone like you to be attracted to someone like them. Feeling insecure about their body in general. It doesn't matter how much you love a person if that person doesn't love themselves. They will never believe that someone like you could possibly love someone like them because they don't see the beauty in themselves. They can't see what you see.
Much like the characters in Isn't It Romantic Josh is in love with Natalie but Natalie doesn't even know it because she thinks she isn't attractive enough. Watch the movie, not only is it enlightening its also funny.
